Privacy policy

This policy explains what OSRS Construction Calculator does with information when you use https://osrsconstructioncalc.com. The short version: the calculator runs in your browser, and we do not want your data.

1. What we do not collect

• We do not ask for, store or transmit your RuneScape username.
• We do not have accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to.
• The levels, XP totals, prices and goals you type into the calculator are never sent to us. They are processed entirely inside your browser.

2. Local storage

So that your plan survives a refresh, the calculator saves your last inputs, current XP, target XP, hours per day, chosen method, plank source and any prices you edited, in your browser’s localStorage under a single key. That data stays on your device, is not readable by us, and is deleted when you press Reset or clear your browser data.

3. The contact form

If you send us a message, the name, email address and message you type are transmitted to our form provider, which relays them to our inbox. We use that information only to reply to you and to fix whatever you reported. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share it.

4. Server logs and hosting

The site is served as static files by our hosting provider, which keeps standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors.

5. Cookies and analytics

We do not set advertising cookies and we do not run cross-site tracking. If privacy-preserving, aggregate analytics are ever added, this page will be updated before they go live.

6. Third parties

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads. Outbound links to community sites are subject to those sites’ own policies.

7. Children

The site is a general-audience game utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Your rights

Because we hold almost nothing, most data requests resolve to “we do not have it”. If you have written to us and want that correspondence deleted, email hello@osrsconstructioncalc.com and we will remove it.

9. Changes

Updates to this policy are published here with a new date at the top. Substantive changes will also be noted on the guides page.
